As our client was pulling up to her own home, she was stopped by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy. She was arrested for a Felony possession of Cocaine in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11350 and a misdemeanor violation of Penal Code section 148, resisting an officer. Through our efforts, the drug possession was reduced to a misdemeanor and then dismissed and the resisting was reduced to a disturbing the peace.

Our client was experiencing an ongoing dispute with his neighbor. They were living in an apartment complex and the noise was creating friction between the residents. Our client became angry and out of frustration threatened his neighbor and displayed a toy gun. It was a terrible mistake. Our client was remorseful and truly never meant any violence to come to anyone. Our client was accused of a felony Criminal Threats in violation of Penal code section 422.
