Our client was arrested for domestic violence against his wife. He was charged with threatening her with a knife in violation of Penal Code section 417(a)(1), also known as exhibiting a deadly weapon in a threatening manner. Our office conducted a detailed analysis of the evidence in the case, exposing some weaknesses in the evidence. Based on this analysis, we were able to get our client misdemeanor diversion. Upon completion of the conditions of diversion, the charge would be dismissed.
Result: CASE DISMISSED.
